I WOULD LIKE TO REITERATE A RECENT SUGGESTION THAT THE FORUM BE BROKEN UP A LITTLE BETTER..
POSSIBLY A PLACE FOR SERIOUS DISCUSSION AND DEBATE..AND A PLACE FOR SILLY BANTER..and one for 18+
I PERSONALLY..FIND IT IRRITATING WHEN A DISCUSSION IS GOING ON..AND THEN YOU HAVE THREE PAGES OF SILLINESS AND SMILEYS DOING R RATED THINGS FOR CHILDREN TO SEE..MAYBE AN ADULT 18 PLUS SECTION FOR THAT STUFF..SINCE ADULTS DO LIKE STUFF LIKE THAT...
MY POINT..YOU ARE INTO THE ACTUAL DISCUSSION THAT WAS STARTED..YOU ARE READING..ON LIMITED TIME..AND YOU HAVE TO SIFT THROUGH THOSE THREE PAGES READIN THEM ANYWAY SO THAT YOU DONT MISS A VALID POINT..BY THE TIME A SUBMISSION SHOWS UP ON TOPIC..ITS STARTING TO GET ALL DISTORTED AND PEOPLE ARE FORGETTING WHAT THE ORIGINAL TOPIC WAS AND THUS..BRAND NEW CONFLICT ALL IN SAME THREAD...
MOST OF US CAN READ AND TYPE..SO SURELY WE CAN PICK A THREAD THAT SUITS OUR MOOD OF THE DAY. SILLY IS CUTE...SERIOUS IS NOT..AND IM SURE THAT SOMEONE MAKING WHAT THEY FEEL IS A VALID POINT ..ENDS UP GETTIN WASHED TO SHORE IN SMILEYS AND SILLINESS.IT HAS TO BE HURTFUL AND MAKE THEM FEEL THEIR OPINION DIDNT MEAN DIDDLY SQUAT TO THE MEMBERS..
SO...KASS THROWS OUT THE BAIT...WHAT YALL THINK.?
aww come on..vote then let us know a valid reason yes or no dont just vote and run hehe should be a law aginst that!

Yes, I would like to see serious threads and silly threads separated because Kass says so and hey, that's good enough for me!

good idea... and then we could break it up further into US and THEM areas... and then FLUFF and NON FLUFF areas... and then......
lord knows it being broken up into "Discussion area", "Singers Forum" and "KJ's Only" with the topics listed is too confusing... but what happens if someone accidentally says something funny in the serious section and someone says something serious in the funny section??? what will do then??? therapy is a good option but then we would have to go through the whole "what is an option" debate... or is that optional too? so many questions... -tig

It is a good suggestion cuz it is irritating when an interesting topic is started and then silliness takes over til the end. But whatta ya do when the topic's own starter takes over their own post with inanities after they just posed a valid question or observation?
Sometimes I think it's people wanting to preserve their good lil girl image, as in: I-just-started-a-serious,-perhaps-controversial-topic-but-I-don't-want-to-be-accused-of-being-ab itch-so-I'll-just-start-a-buncha-jokes.

conversations go off topic all the time. I find it hysterical that there are such control freaks out there that refuse to see that PEOPLE are typing these up,. GEE this would be a boring site to have to see a new thread started JUST because people are talking about something and someone else replied to it off topic like.
And steve... what the... I don't know if you're being funny or not. If you're trying to be funny, it failed. If you're NOT trying to be funny, perhaps you don't realize the proximity of where you two live?
and I thought this topic was about BEING on topic?

Tig...I don't know what your problem is...but you really need to lighten up. I am not trying to run the world..I was merely making a suggestion..which you felt the need to apply your sarcastic humor to. Which is something you seem to believe is cute..or kool..or somehow even expected.
GENERAL...I would NOT pretend to think every single post in a thread would be totally serious..What I mean is I dont think it is right for a small "clicque" to Hijack threads and take them over.
It is simply rude... and wrong..there are children on this site as well who really really dont need to see all the x rated smiley things goin on..and yall KNOW I am right on that. Hey...I saved a couple for myself..I am not a PRUDE..BUTTTTTT I know there is a time and place for everything. So..WHY NOT have an adult forum?
As for worrying about tarnishing good girl images..well I am SURE that wasnt about me since I pretty much put my good girl image in the ground bout 21 years ago...
The question I brought forward was a valid concern of MANY of the people on this site. Those same people probaby that some of you CLAIM refuse to speak up...
YOu keep talking about cliques and pairing off..and look at this thread and several others in here...you guys do EXACTLY the same thing but somehow its..right..for you to do it..NOPE...its really not..
ok..back on topic...
THIS IS A VALID POLL THAT I AM INTERESTED IN SEEING WHAT OTHERS THINK...IVE BEEN WRONG MANY TIMES ...AND I HAVE A FEELING I WONT MELT IF IM WRONG AGIN........
and STEVEN...I love you.

Good morning Kass- I think that is a great idea:) Mainly... because, i don't have the ability to be serioius... even though I try really hard sometimes.. and If I am annoying people then I should have my own padded room to make jokes and watch smilies move around (however, i can say i have nevvvver posted a smiley). Another thing.. is that it could also further.. separate people...those wanting drama, action, and tension.. and those that are complete morons who want attention (me)... which.. could be a good thing? But, I would feel completely unwanted on the serious topics... just because i can't speak sensibly.
Anywho, I found it a little hurtful when I read the "Sometimes I think it's people wanting to preserve their good lil girl image" etc etc... because really some people are just plain foolish... and it is hard to REALLY see that on an online forum.. and gawd knows, if I am completely ridiculous in person, what the heck do you all think of me ONLINE??! See.. i kept this fairly serious.. well, i think so.. wait, what IS silly and what IS valid to you, and everyone else? Ok, leaving now. I DO think it is a good idea:) So yea to you:)

WELL...WHO KNOWS ..EVERYONE HAS THEIR WAY OF THINKIN THATS THE COOL THING..
I HAVE TO ADMIT THAT LITTLE ...SPIKE THRU THE HEART HURT TO..I AM A GOOD GIRL..OK..I WAS A GOOD GIRL.WHEN I WAS A GIRL..A FEW DECADES AGO..
ACTUALLY SILLY CAN BREAK THE TENSION..AND ITS OK..IT WHEN IT TAKES OVER THE ENTIRE THREAD AND IGNORES THE TOPIC COMPLETELY..THAT IT BECOMES ANNOYING TO SOME..NOT TO EVERYONE..JUST TO SOME..
AND YOU WERE ALMOST SERIOUS..THAT SCARED ME GILLY GIRL! HUGS
OK..TO ME..THERE I SAID IT..GRRR ... HEHE

Hey all -
Big OOPS!
I've done it again... I was trying to fix the thread [POLL] Instead I accidently deleted it?! Sorry, going to see if I can fix that again...
Anyway, I think the idea for keeping certain topics - "On Topic" is a good idea. However, I know that others want the option to just have fun.
I agree with all of you!
I tried to set up these forums to incorporate all of this, and I will continue to do so. All suggestions are considered however not all are implemented.
I will search the forums because I know I created a list of the different forums somewhere. Once I have found that topic I will post it here for further review and suggestions.
As far as Steve threatening anyone - I don't think he is - He again is just trying to lightenit up... Relax and enjoy!
I just quickly popped in - I'll be back -

Actually, I thought all sections should be or ARE rated PG at most.
I was thinking of developing a special section for the inappropriate posts that are geared toward a PG-13 to R, maybe even NC-17 but that is as high as I or site moderators will permit. This section already exists but I guess it is not well known. Ask Big Jimmy C about it, I think he is one of the original members of that section that is still active.
Anyway, I back to searching between my reading and responding to these posts!
