Hi, I am looking to upgrade my home karaoke system and currently looking at BMB csv450 se 3way 500W and looking at a BMB mixer amp, maybe 4 channel, are these good choices? Or are there beeter items for the money? My budget is around 2500-3000. Thanks!

Why not look at the yamaha mg10xu mixer and two ev xls speakers? That will be inside your budget and sound better than anything bmb makes.

That yamaha mg10xu might be too complicated for me.. I am more thinking of getting a karaoke amplifier with speakers for a rather small environment, is there recommendations for that?

Years ago, I owned Nikkodo bmb cs600 speakers, bmb mixer dep2000 echo processor. Tinny sound & hollow, like coming from a barrel. Distorted & crackly at high volumes.

BMB = toys, junk. Stay away, run, don’t walk. Their products are below vocopro when it comes to quality (imho). And that’s saying a lot! I agree with DannyG & karaokeniagarafalls. With the amount of $$$ you allocated you can buy better brand (bbb, not bmb :) ) quality equipment.

I'd suggest the mixer that I mentioned above and the EV ZA1 speakers.

Hey hey.... Don't be dissin' VocoPro. They make good wireless mic systems.

They are right though for EV speakers are awesome for sound quality for any size room.

I couldn’t agree with you. I gave my brother a wireless vococrap, I mean vocopro uhf 3200 for his birthday, short circuited in less than 30 days. Returned it & the salesman talked me into an exchange with the next “hi-end” 4 mic model, uhf5800. Needless to say, after a year 2 handhelds gone to greener pastures. :(

what Danny suggested is a great small setup and will cost less than the BMB.
Yamaha mg10xu is a great quality mixer, simple to use, great sound and effects.
the EV ZA1 speakers are also great quality for less money than the BMB and sound amazing.

this really is a small room setup.
the reason you have gotten talk against "karaoke" amplifiers is that they usually (BMB and Vocopro among others) are lower quality, more cheaply made, and priced higher. generally speaking, if it says "karaoke" or "professional" in the name of the product it will cost more and provide less in the way of features and quality.

I just talked a friend into purchasing a GTD wireless quad set, because his 1 year old VocoPro 5800 sounded like crap and not of the all mics worked. He is tickled pink with the GTD........ oh and they have excellent battery life.
