Our Chartbuster 12000 song hardrives will be easy to varify as well as cdgs--but what about all those super cdgs floating around?

I have the Super CDG's They are also purchased and offered from legal resellers, I don't see why they wouldn't be included in SC/CB certification.
Also it's good to hear that about those hard drives because i read somewhere that most/all of those hard drives expired and Pep wasn't planning on renewals... so that's great to hear they are still in good standing.

We are not going to be doing an extensive verification of media.
The registration process will be simple once we get the website configured to take this information. Tell us who you are, tell us what original media you have, show us a picture of your original media, and show us any certificates you have (expired or not). In exchange, you get a permanent covenant not to sue.
If you want "certification," then we'll take a closer look, but registration is all we're asking for.
We consider all original media the same for purposes of registration--CDGs, SD cards, hard drives, authorized downloads, etc.
The reason why we're asking is simple. The company that originally sold Chartbuster media is out of business, and all of the records that would be useful to this purpose were destroyed. We're asking for those folks who own original media to help us build a record set that will keep us from wasting time seeing people who have original CB media.
Plenty of people have complained that we didn't do this with SC. We're doing it now with CB, so it will be interesting to see how the complaints shift.

You have the power to change, so why not change it for SC stuff now? Sure it will make a lot angry that they paid for certification, but then again that is for certification, why not make SC registration FREE with what you are requiring for CB?

Personally, i think this whole thing would be better if you offered the option of doing an audit for a kj's ENTIRE collection of hard media *cdg, chartbuster hard drives and sd cards*. Give a covenant not to sue for the trademarks that you control, but on the certificate and website, make a note that the kj's entire disc collection was audited, and meets the 1-1 requirement.
This way you are automatically CB and SC certified, and you will only have to submit updates for new media bought.

I too have receipts for every one but I don't think they're interested in these non U.S. sites.

I have ChartBuster SCDGs E-1 thru E-6, I've seen on this site that they were good but E-7 thru E-10 were illegal. I saw on eBay an E-7 that was 30 CDGs and I was wondering about them?

The SCDG's i got from ebay were in fact authentic E1 - E6 advertised at $9.99 per disk. No offerings of E7 - E10 has been produced on SCDG, (if you find them then they are more than likely (Not The Real Deal)
However the SD cards are also Authentic if you acquire the set E1- E10 (I'm sceptical about getting the SD cards from ebay though because someone offered them for 70.00 per SD card but never replied back to me when I asked about the Authenticity vs. copies.
Ya' can't beat the price though at 3 cents a song for Original CB music.

My opinion on this is simple: Anyone who registers anything from CB with Harrinton is simply a fool.

You have to understand that he holds a grudge from way back. You see, he used to run seven karaoke systems. Then he found out that we were suing operators who were multi-rigging without being 1:1, and that, er, made him so angry that he dropped the SC brand and scaled his operations way back, presumably so he could spend more time trying to destroy SC. We're still here, and he just gets angrier and angrier.

Man, I just sold those disks on the cheap to a member on here.
Those CDG disks in fact are original, just the SCDG disks E1-6 are also good and also the SD Chartbusters set E1-E10 are produced.

It's kind of ironic that a karaoke manufacturer claims to "still be here" but they haven't produced a KARAOKE TRACK in over 5 years.
