Okay,
Last Year I got a free DVD player as a subscription gift from Total Movie Magazine. The DVD player is a Dingtian Brand DVD player and has two Mic. Jacks on the front of it.
So for Christmas I bought my wife a bunch of CD+G's and a couple Microphones (She Likes to throw parties and is always looking for something to get everyone having fun). But when We put the discs in the player we found that it doesn't display the graphics on the screen (as hoped). The documentation for the player wasn't that great and so I wasn't terribly surprised since it is some wierd off brand.
SO. . . this Christmas I want to get her a Machine that will display the graphics on the screen, Karaoke just isn't the same without the Lyrics...
The player I'm looking at is an:
AVIA DVD-660
for these reasons
I found it for about $60 which is pretty much the High-end of my price Range
It has the Mic Jacks on the front
It says it plays CD+G
It has a VGA output jack on the back.

But I don't want to get another player that doesn't show Lyrics on the screen.

SO MY QUESTION IS: Has anyone used this player? Does it Display the Lyrics on the screen?

Also, if there is another Low Price Karaoke DVD player with VGA output on the back you could reccomend, I'd appreciate being pointed in the right Direction.

~Thanks All
UTSquishy

If it says it plays cdg's, there is a 99.9% chance that it does. I have never used it though.

I asked everyone on E-Bay Selling this thing if it shows Lyrics on the screen, half said yes, half said I don't know. I took a gamble and bought it. . . It plays Lyrics on the screen, Quite Well actually.
