Please limit your requests to the original thread. It will move that thread back to the top of the list and everyone will see it again.

I outlined the differences between the two already and its up to you to decide how you plan on using it. If you need to que the discs in advance the 3 tray is the only one that offers that option. If you'll be using SCDG's or DVD's then you have to go with the CAVS 202. If you'll only be using CDG's either player will work just fine.

Dude! How many times do you need to ask this? It's been answered completely in the first thread you opened!

BUT ISN'T THE SCD-G'S CAVS WAY OF REPLACING OR COMPETEING AGAINST THE 3 DISC CHANGER. OR IS THE 3 DISC CHANGER STILL FASTER IN QUEING UP THE NEXT SONG. ALSO THEY SAY THAT BY HAVEING THE SCD-G YOU HAVE A BETTER CHANCE OF NOT SCRATCHING THE CD'S B/C YOU WONT BE CHANGING THEM AS OFTEN. THEN AGAIN IF YOU SCRATCH THE SCD-G YOUR REALY SCREWED BECAUSE ALL THE SONGS WERE ON THAT ONE DISC. WHICH ONE DO YOU RECOMEND.

THANKS :?

Why don't you just go out and get what you want. Everyone has their thoughts and it seem you have made your mind already.. I use the tripple tray and as said in the other thread "if one disk gets scratched you are down 15 - 20 songs not 450 +.

I have seen the cavs in action. And I like it from the perspective IF you can make other songs on supercdg, such as SC, and other brands that aren't available that way. It would be terrific if the company sold a product that would allow you to do it with a compatible dvd burner like Plextor.

BUT, they don't. SO I have done the next best thing, which is to go digital on PC. I'll be debuting my new system in January.

Tons of time to encode. What's irked me lately is I found a great product that does the renaming bit from KJPro... all this time, I've been handtyping it! LOL!

What product does the renaming via KJPro? and does it work?

I'm considering making the move to digital but haven't started encoding yet and this would cut the time GREATLY.
