Hey there!

I just purchased the VocoPro DECOD-G1 & a Sony 400 DVD Changer for our club, and cannot seem to get the Monitors to display correctly when I run the signal through the decoder. It works just fine from the Sony directly, but when I run the video through the VocoPro, I get a rolling screen (like the monitor is not tuned to the right channel) and I can just barely see the lyrics. I'm wondering if it is a cableing-type of problem. I'm using the AV cables that came with the DVD player, and I'm beginning to wonder if I need digital coaxials instead...

Any suggestions/ideas??? Thanks for the help! You all are great! :D

sounds like you need to get your vocopro serviced.

Our dvd player at home did that, and we had to chuck it (cheap apex)...

check with vocopro's site about help with the decoder... I think that's where the graphics are coming from

exactly WHY I don't go with anything more than a standard system to do karaoke. A player that does it all, hooked up to an amp and mixer and speakers!

 They're stating that "that can't happen - it's impossible". They had me checking the PAL/NTSC switch, change TVs (for the 4th time), and a lot more runaround... Finally, their suggestion was to take it back to the store where I purchased it and have them hook it up to work. If it doesn't work, then they'll "be more than happy to replace it!". I dunno - I think I'm missing something here...

By the way Knight - thanks for the response... It looks like I may be doing just that if all else fails... :?

In the meantime, if anyone else has run across this or has any ideas, please pass them along!!!

Thanks again!
