For family use either will work just fine. Keep in mind if you plan to buy any karaoke DVD's you can't play them on the JVC/RSQ. Additionally, the CAVS 202 also supports SCDG which is a format that holds many more songs, but has a limited release (Chartbuster seems to be out on SCDG but few others). BTW, the multi tray changer or multiple players is only a need for a show where you're queing the next singer in advance, etc. For a family you'll likely be talking about the last person and have some time to relax, change out the disc, etc. If you ever plan to do professional shows I'd avoid buying the DVD's, go with the JVC/RSQ. Sound quality on these two are about the same and highly dependent on the disc you put in them. |

Even for home use, it is nice to be able to remove one disc and get a new one ready while one is playing. If you are throwing a karaoke party it makes it that much easier. |

I have both ...the CAVS is nice if you get alot of people picking songs off that on disk...my experience has been they pick from many diff disks and it sucks to change disks with the cavs due to one tray. wish i didnt have the Cavs now but need it for the 388 songs in my books. for home use theres nuttin better than to have the cavs. just my thoughts:) |

you can contact cavs and convert your supercdg to regular cdg discs... then keep the cavs as a home machine |

THANKS FOR ALL OF YOUR REPLYS. IT SOUNDS LIKE I SHOULD GO WITH THE TRIPPLE DISK(JVC) INSTEAD OF THE SUPER CD-G. |
