Some where, Out there . . . for virtually every song . . .
is someone singing karaoke who puts the original artist's vocals to shame.

My opinion obviously, but I bet you can all think of many songs where you prefer listening to a particular karaoke singer's version over the original.

I've heard many songs sung at shows that I hadn't heard before and they were awesome. Some time later I would come across the original and not be impressed at all.

Probably one of the bigger reasons some artists don't want their stuff available in karaoke.

Most singers are not the songwriter(s)/publisher(s), so I doubt that's it.

?? Huh? I believe he's talking about only hearing songs at karaoke and liking them there first, THEN hearing the original song & realize you like hearing the karaoke people sing it better because the original singer doesn't do it as much justice.
