Welcome, I'm new too!
I'd recommend reading over the topic in the main Discussion Forum about Sweet Georgia Brown discs. I learned a lot there, but will probably still buy some SGB titles to get started.

If I were you I would head to ebay...I have many many disks and I found some marvelous deals there...There are many there sold in complete sets also...
Favorite brands is a personal choice and depends very much also on how much moolah you wanna shell out.....and how big do you think this hobby may grow? What type of music do you prefer?? Tell us more....
There are other threads on this info, but we can discuss it anywhere u like..
