Okay.....why is it in some threads you can edit, but in some you can't?

Same with deleting, and all those other little options listed at the bottom?

Who gets to set them?

Just curious :)

I guess!

I just worry about the editing ones cause what happens if you want to write a word like

Buck....but oopppsss....you acidentally type an "f" instead of a "B"

How do you edit that out LOL!

In the case of the accidental "F" it would read as (@$%&#!) as that is the word I just typed, but is now replaced by ####. You do have to be logged in to edit but I know you already knew that.

Well!

That makes me feel a little better! I could totally see myself accidentally type-o ing that! LOL!

I have never noticed a thread where you can't edit it... I know you can't delete any post, only Phill can do that. But you can edit it... as long as you are signed in. Hmmm... but I've never noticed that option NOT there.

Funny! I have seen some posts where I have been allowed to delete my posts.....that is why I am so confused?

Sometimes you can, sometimes you can't.....I just wonder how it is decided??

OK!

So I changed the name of the post...added Phil's name, so maybe, when he gets the chance out of his busy schedule, he can pop by and help us out :)

:D Ya big meanie!!

pondering.....on a new post you have the delete button AND the edit button. 'cos i just made a new post in newbies and there they are - i suppose though after a certain amount of time passes you lose both buttons, 'cos mine is gone now! wahhhhhh

That's ok - still have my boots & m & m's - which i was gonna share with Phill but now I'm not! (the boots - not the m & m's)

After more intense investigation - there's not a delete button option in the singer's forum....i'll fill you in if i find out anything else Image

Well, i am always kind of confuesed anyway....sigh.
I still don't have a delete button MM, EVEN on a new post. I have the edit button. You must be logged in as a Fairy or something.....LOL
