Phil,
I got problem: just cant listen to the songs submited; when I press the Listen button a window pop up as usual; click and no sound. An error message pop up saying I need to instal some plugin.
Please help.

Have you tried installing the windows updates? If a plugin/upgrade is required, you'll pick it up that way.

I am on auto update, so if there is any it should get in my computer

this did not hapen before, and since I was inactive for awhile and after reformating my HD I got this problem

Just to be sure, what browser are you using? Have you dropped a PM to Phil (webguru)? Often he can point out the problem pretty quickly and double check that there aren't any problems on the server side.

I use Opera tho' I have the option to use IE.

mime types aren't handled correctly in Opera (for the Singers Showase) and I never got a chance to play with them long enough to get them right.

Basically that means that it doesn't work in Opera (I tried...). Doesn't work in HotJava or Lynx either. :wink:

Try it in IE and you'll likely find that it works just fine.

BTW, chances are Opera handles them according to the RFC per the IETF standards and IE doesn't. But IE usually works while Opera doesn't when playing the songs on the Showcase.

I just tried IE and it doesn't work also. Both IE and Opera work well before And now that I want to be active again in this forum both are not working.
I have PM Phil about it.
