I'm going to sing "Heartaches By The Number" (SAVA16-07) tonight in memory of him. That version sounds just like one I used to hear when my mom and dad used to listen him.

65 years of contribution, an American original and as love songs go, the line "lay your warm and tender body close to mine" as he sung it has always been one of my favorites. The song was actually written by Kris Kristofferson.

One of a kind... even though most of his songs portrayed sad portions of his life, ( Which Country Song Didn't??? ) he has a portfolio and Legacy that will keep him in our shows for as long as someone remembers... Thanks Ray!

Never get any Ray Price songs sung, however For The Good Times - Al Green would be the closest tribute we would have. I remember my Dad listening to RP all the time while I grew up!
