I have never heard this song and I think its freaking amazing!!

Boy I have to say I hate it when someone makes me feel like a MAROON! Chick better keep to herself and off this site cause I think that subbing someone elses songs and passing them off as yours is DISGRACEFUL.

I am going to lose my faith in people.

well.....ran across this tonight....she's subbing songs that aren't her own...she's done this on another site and has been banned....hopefully the songs will be removed from the showcase...

Confused? No wonder - you have to put up with us!! :wink:

This girl who registered under the name of Hawaiian Chick subbed 2 songs in the showcase that didn't belong to her. She did this at another site, was caught, admitted it, apologized and then turned around and did it again. I'm not sure who the real singer is, I think Sheree put her name on one of the songs by HC. Now, are you even more confused?! :shock:

ok.... so...ummm.... let me get this straight....

The submission by Hawaiin Chick isn't really her singing???? She's submitting other artists and SAYING that it's really her?? well if that isn't sad I don't know what is.... :roll: and here's me being all nervous and hoping I don't suck TOO bad, and this girl just subs other artists and lies to us all?? well I gotta say..... I'm downright tinkled!! :grumble:

I really enjoyed the unique sound of the song 'Pulling Myself Together'... I listened to it several times... I asked her if it was an original and she said yes.... with that I typed the title of the song in my web browser and the song came up under Hi-Standard... an all male group. I looked for others who had possibly covered the song and Marina Davis popped up... same identical song. And on that same album was coincedently... her other submission 'More Than Enough' .... :roll:

No reason to feel foolish Crystal... SHE is the one who should feel foolish... we all assume that each submission is on the level unless we learn otherwise... there are plenty of great singers here and it is sometimes hard to tell a professional recording from an amateur...

One good thing came out of it... Marina Davis has a few new fans! :wink: :D

Well, you'd think after getting caught BEFORE, she wouldn't even try....but yes....i think she did think she would get away with it.....else, why try huh?
Last time on another site we had one do it.....and man oh man...this person was nasty when they got caught.....geez.....LOL :lol:

Sheree:) The sad thing is, when she FIRST posted the first song, My husband and I spent like an hour searching the lyrics to her FIRST song "more than enough" with no luck, even had someone b*tch at me to leave her alone and give her a chance. (I love being RIGHT;). Lol, I remember her the FIRST 2/3 times she lied about songs... apparently, as I was told, she took a Beyonce song, and lowered it in pitch, and subbed it as her own... someone caught her right away.. but, I have seen SOOO many people lie about submissions... but, they USUALLY go away:) This chicky was persistant:)

Darn, how did YOU find it, and I couldn't!!? I didn't try searching her second song, darn it:) Ok, done babbling for the moment.

I for one thought it was quite strange that if someone had a voice like that *supposably* to begin with **why would they have to submit someone else's songs if they ACTUALLY sounded like this (her latest 2 subs) :roll: I left my 2 cents worth also on her sub
