I have a lot of foreign language discs that I use for private parties (Though the Latin discs get carried to shows as well). I have Greek discs, Chinese discs (VCDs), Hungarian discs, Latin Discs, Indian discs, German, French, etc.... HOWEVER, over the last 10-15 years Northern NJ has had a HUGE influx of people from Korea. My problem: I can only find Korean karaoke on chips for such things as Magic Mics and similar items- and it's mostly midi. Does anyone know of a source for Korean karaoke on discs? By disc, I mean any kind. Modern players can pretty much all play anything- CD+G, VCD, DVD, and virtually any other kind of disc. It has to be OEM, though. No burned downloads or copied chips. Thanks in advance for any help.... |

If you want to venture over the water (or under it if you take the Tunnel), try checking out the Flushing area by Main Street and Roosevelt Ave. It's a large Asian section, and there are a few of those KTV places there. I believe there may be a store or two around there as well that cater to the Korean crowd for Karaoke. |

The Korean karaoke place I went to use TJ TKR 304E. The machine comes with 30,000 songs primarily dominated by Korean and Japanese songs, about 3000 are English songs. Every three months they would add new songs into each languages. You would need to download it into the USB, then activate it with the smart card certificate (purchase separately $20 or so) Their songs are all superior quality but the machine costs $500. From what I know they bought licenses to these songs and recorded live instruments over it. |

While aware of what you have posted about, the system is useable for me. |

I think of Beaker from the Muppets every time I look at my avatar. Her name is Joyce Drake. She was a Christian music artist in the 80's. This pic is a cut out from her debut album cover and has been consistently listed as one of the worst album covers ever by folks that rate those kind of things. Her face has been super-imposed on many pictures over the life of the internet which is why you may recognize it. -Chris |

Let’s not be too quick to judge, folks; not until we hear a cut track from her album. Sorry, paradigm for another unnecessary posting. (lyrics’ proofreader has a sense of humor 'coming' spell.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l-B-dvIlNN8 |
