I inherited a laser disk player (about 8 years old) and a box of about 75 laser discs. any real value to this or just find a local Karaoke fan to donate to?
Thanks!

There is definitely value in the laser discs, but the value is very dependent on the individual disc. The dual-sided Pioneer and DK karaoke laser discs still go for $10-25 each on EBay, depending on the disc. Do some research there on E-Bay to figure out the total value.
What brand is the laser disc player? The standard Pioneers go for about $150-175.
Good luck!

Unfortunately those discs aren't as desireable as the double sided Pioneer. You might be able to sell them for $5-10 each on ebay (brand new unopened are going for $16.99 as of now), but if you try to sell them all at once, you might be looking at a $1-3 each when broken down cost wise - start $500 for the whole lot with the player. The player, wasn't the greatest - again, Pioneer had the market on good and desireable players. But if it still plays fine, you might eke out $100-150 for it on ebay by itself.

I’m a little late posting, but I’m with Lon on this one. Your pioneer lasers are 8” & contain only 4 songs each (8 if you include 4 multiplex tracks) hence, not as desirable as the 12” double-sided with 24 songs each (non-multiplex). Starting price of $500, player included is fair. Good luck!
