Post subject:  RECENT CHANGES
Okay folks, I am done for the day. I do have a life and a hunny-do list a mile long. I haven't gotten to any of that and I live with her!

I have done several things as you have probably already noticed.

1) the main page loads much faster (Under 4 seconds for 28.8 modem - Do people still use those? ;) )

2) Yes, I have temporarily removed the comments from the main page. That was part of the problem.

3) Ranks are not currently displayed on the main page either. And yes I know the Top Ranked Song pages are still very S-L-O-W. I'll get to that.

4) There are some other background items I've adjusted.

5) Oh and I have increased the amount of submissions displayed on the main page to 75.

I will get to the additional repairs and additions over the next few days. Besides it is currently 5PM my time and I've got to get some of the other list done!

I hope that helps answer and explain what you have been experiencing today.

Comments are BACK on the main page! I figured out a way to add them without causing too much of a delay.

If anyone discovers an error please let me know!

I am still working on some other items. Hopefully I will be able to incorporate all your suggestions.

Hmmm, one more time give me a list of the requests for the Singer's Showcase?

NEW! Feature

Check-out your profile in Singer's Showcase.

Where your submissions are listed you will see the amount of new comments that have been made on each song!

After you reply to all comments the "NEW" will no longer appear!

I hope you folks like that one! 8)

Please check out my Falling Into You Song. I am quite sure I have replied to all the comments (I double checked), but it still says that I have two new comments to reply too (I know it is an old sub, but I don't understand where those two phantom comments are coming from).

Hmmm - there were phantoms in there that were not displayed and they didn't belong to anyone? Go figure?

If anyone else has this problem let me know...

I will try to remove any possibilities of them right now, but you never know I might just miss a few!

I thought they were yellow? Oh well, maybe it's my eyes...

I think I have the problem fixed with the "Phantoms" let me know if you experience that or any other problem.

Yeppers, I'm getting phantoms too. I just figgered maybe there's some overlap in the "script" thingie or something and that eventually it'd go away with time?

Mkay, I just went and checked my profile, and my phantoms all went away. Perhaps they just needed a few mins. to catchup after I answered them the latest ones? And yes, it's yellow.

Okay now I am trying to calculate a method to display the Star ranks. This will mean adjusting everyones current rank from 1-10. Also, I am trying to implement a method that would incorporate the amount of comments that a person receives to help adjust the ratings.

Just an idea. BTW, anyone have a method that they believe would work? If so, give it to me...

I like the new post -it feature.. it works well It saved me mere minutes of looking at EVERY song for critiques.. Phill it worked great!. Thanks man!
