yeah , I know what y'all mean. It's so time consuming to try n' keep up with all the posts and comments,and now with the changes to the latest subs page , I can't even tell if a new comment has been given to my latest posts. So now I'll have to open each song just to find out if I nead to thank anyone for taking the time to listen and comment. I also think it was nice to have the total comments on the front page to use as an indicator as to the popularity of a givin post. To all my friends here , it's been a lot of fun , and yer' all a great bunch of people. Thank you for all the help and for just being YOU!  , I 'm still gonna be around, maybe just a bit less. I guess I'ma start lookin' for a new hobby as well. Take Care and \big huggz/ to ya' all.

Gee, have I upset anyone?
All I am attempting to do is speed up the loading of the pages. You should notice a vast improvement. I temporarily removed the comments because I discovered that it was causing the delay thereby, making the page load slowly!
I am trying to figure out a way to modify the pages so that they load quicker.
If you wish to see the total comments made on your submissions, the easiest way that I have found, is to click on your username after you have signed in. This will take you to your profile. At the bottom of your profile you can see the # of comments on each submission.
I am also trying to add a feature that would display whether there are unreplied to comments. This will be displayed on your profile page.
I am also working on adding some other features.
Again sorry for the inconvenience, but changes do require that I am able to work on the site.

Allstar , yer' nuts , that's why I love ya...(in a manly kinda' way that is  ) don't wanna get into that Allstar  Steven thang. nah , I just paid for three more months , so I'll be around for sure.It's just becoming too time consuming and like most others ,too ADDICTING! , Hi I'm Denndogg...and I'm addicted to the singers Showcase  I nead to spend some time , basicly taking care of day to day business , in fact I'm doing research and working on the beginning stages of hopefully opening my Restaurant in early "05" ,wich I just procured the name "trademark" for. and Phill , I understand and fully appreciate your awesome work and dedication on and to this site! It's just taking far too much of my time lately , and I just wanted the others to know that I'm not ignoring them , and didn't want some of them to wonder why I havn't been around ...that is IF I can pry myself away at all , ,but I gotta at least try. , thanks all for your help , and support!

ok peps, lets give the webguru a little bit of breathing space here to work on the new make over, lets just all sit back and be patient  he has heard all your suggestions, and is now putting them into practice, plus adding a few idias of his own, these things take a little time, its not as quick as just clicking on the mouse a few times and hey its all done,lol i'm sure phill wishes it would be that easy,
Lets sit back folks and listen to a few subs while phill works his butt off for us, man its been long over due seeing phill work, only

Denny, Tigger and all concerned:
Like Phill said, no need to panic,he's on the case and I know the results are gonna leave us in a more comfortable situation. The inconveniences are only temporary.
Tigger, I think that what has happened here is that for the second time since I've been here, we had an invasion of friends from another site all coming in at the same time. As a result things here start to move differently from our usual routine. I think it was overwhelming to say the least. Is this a conspiracy to bring us down or are we taking the number 1 spot in the Karaoke sites. !!!! 
To friends retuning & new members:
You are all welcome and we're happy to listen to your talent. We have the best family atmosphere and we always discuss things openly under the watchful eye of the best Webmaster there is. Now, if you all leave all of a sudden like the last time, it wont look too good.HHMMM???

Missy , I NEVER said I didn't appreciate Phil's hard work , and his efforts to please the masses , In fact I praised him...as I have many , many times in the past! I just wanted all to know that I personally may be too busy in the near future to be as diligent in listening , and commenting. I also don't see myself having much time to even record , mix , and post much for a while. I didn't mean to offend anyone with this thread , if I did I'm sorry!

Hmmm, I think the mistake may have been on my part.
The topic title is "Going Through Changes" - I did the ol' ASSUME thing again. I mistakenly interpreted that to mean you were referring to me and the changes I have been making.
What I guess (Although, I don't want to do that ASSUME thing again) you were refferring to is that you are Going Through Changes!
Do'Oh! Jumpin' to the wrong conclusions again! Sorry...

This site has grown tremendously in the past two months alone.... I remember I used to come to this singers forum and visit after say one week... and there would be no new posts! That was not all that long ago... during that time people found this place and it became a nice little home for them... kinda like a small town where everybody knows everybody... now... it's becoming a big city with lot's of traffic... and I can certainly understand how some feel it's lost that cozy feeling! But I think the reason many of us came here is because we all want that cozy town feeling... where we are all friends... who wants to be in a place where you have no friends? I hate to see anybody leave ... or become less active ... but life happens so I sure do understand! I have come to know many new people here and that is always a great thing! I sometimes feel like the reason I submit a song... is just to chat with all of ya and say how's it goin'? When my song falls off the front page.... I submit another one.... it's really not a big deal.... at least I never thought so! I believe we will find out that the songs at the bottom of the page still do not get listened to very much.... I have found that if someone wants to hear my songs... they will find me... and that is always so nice when they go the extra step to dig for an old song and comment! We still have the search option... and of course... when a member comments on a song... what I usually do is click on that persons name and find the songs in their profile! I know ..... I'm babbling this morning... happy Sunday all!!!! Dogg.... I hope ya hang with us... I would miss ya! Good luck with the restaraunt... let me know where it is and I will FOR SURE come and visit ya!!!!!!
