I am looking for some information or opinions on "The Computer-Karaoke Guide" I found this site when looking for Karaoke Info. The claim of being able to download EVERYTHING that has ever been put into karaoke for only $69.00 seems a bit far fetched to me, but I'm not at all knowledgeable.

If it sounds to good to be true..................................blah blah blah. Use common sense.

Sets you up to access a mirc channel. Don't do it, because it's:
A: A scam as you can access an mirc channel for free
B: A gateway to pirated content

RickGood is right on the money. There are many variants to this guide. Some are free but most charge roughly the $69 amount to set you up with software and access to one of the iRC based peer-to-peer channels. NONE of these are legitimate ways to obtain karaoke for any purpose (commercial or personal)

I have been monitoring several of the apps and iRC channels for about 10 years now.

If you really want to steal pirated music and risk fines and jailtime, at least know that you can do it for free. You don't need to pay someone $69 to tell you how to steal someone's stuff.

Yea, it does sound too good to be true. I don't think it is worth the risk.

Many thanks to those of you that replied. (sorry to waste your time mr bla,bla,bla). Since I am a newbie I really appreciate the knowledge that some of you are willing to share with some of us less experienced. All of this has been an extreme education since the area in which I live seems to be VERY tight lipped about all thing karaoke. Thanks again Hoss
