Never ceases to amaze me. Won’t be long till bids reach the $500 mark, same as the last item that sold for $510 with 15 bids. Already own 2 but who knows, if I don’t have 8125 in my library I probably have the same zeal to get it irrespective of the amount. :)

I just can't understand why anyone would be willing to pay so much money for that 1 disc. It's just NOT worth it!!!

Even if the KJ had the 15 song tracks from that SC disc, but did not own the original disc, and the only reason he/she wanted to obtain that disc, was to become legit, it's still not worth it. These song tracks are all out there on Backstage, Legends, and Zoom... Zoom being the best pick from that. IMO, ZOOM is every bit as good as SC. And, one thing I especially like about the Zoom Eagles disc (BTW... there's 2 of them), is that they made 2 versions of "Hotel California." One version is the full instrumental version, and the other version is the short version (where they faded out the musical outro by almost 2 minutes).

At least the bidders aren't pirates (unless they are trying to become legit)

Interesting in that it looks like the bidder who won Brian's auction is also bidding up the disc on Chris's auction. Wish I had that kind of cash to waste.

And, like I stated above, it just isn't worth it. If the KJ is a pirate who wants to become legit, it would be a lot easier (and cheaper too) to just delete those 15 tracks from their hard drive, and then purchase the discs I mentioned in my previous post.

Me three!!! I checked on that Karen, you're right The winning bidder of the recent 8125 (2***2) is up & bidding on this one again. btw a little clarification. It’s Chris’ & Brian’s ebay auction links. We’re not actually the ones selling 8125s. (tho’ I wish).

I don't get it. If ya want it that bad. Just have it made. It'll cost about 70 bucks American. But still cheaper and Legal to use?

70.00 Bucks here.

300.00+ here.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hits-of-the-Eag ... 2ec8f42f91

Which would you choose?

And, an even cheaper option than your $70 proposal...

None of the SC eagles songs from 8125 are available at Clark Music (Custom Sound Choice) anymore.

.....and posting items like this in public forums doesn't do anything to keep the price reasonable either.

I know folks think they are helping other karaoke enthusiasts out, but when auctions get posted it just drives the price up even further.

Why? Were you planning on spending $300 for that 1 disc??? Really????????????????

The auction started at $300 and already had 1 bidder before I posted anything. And you're telling me that $300 is a

I could care less about what my posting may or may not have done to affect the price of this particular auction. If someone feels they have nothing better to do with their money than to spend it so frivolously, then let them... ESPECIALLY after OTHER OPTIONS have been pointed out (which, by the way, was where I am/was trying to help out).

I'm not the first person to post an e-bay auction here about SC8125, and I won't be the last. Let's see now.... WHO opened this topic thread???????????????????? Can you say "Hello Pot"?

Maybe. Maybe not. Either way, it is my money to spend and "Really????????????????" feels like a judgment.

Reasonable is relative.

If you don't care, then don't grief anyone for spending any amount of money on their karaoke content.

The other options are, in your opinion, viable. However, in my opinion, the SC8125 disc has the better versions of the same songs. To me (and other people) that gives it more value which some are willing to pay a premium for. It is similar to what people spend on karaoke sound systems. Lots of perfectly awesome karaoke shows running on $1000 worth of equipment. Lots of awesome karaoke shows running on $10,000 worth of equipment too. Should we be griefing those that spend 10x as much on their sound equipment?

Posting items like this doesn't do anyone any favors. It just means more people know, more people bidding, less likelihood of getting a bargain. Whoever "wins" actually loses.
