Hello,
I'm a karaoke singer from the UK, that specializes in Bee Gees & novelty songs,
where I don't just sing but put on a show as well!

One of my ambitions is to sing my way around the USA! Probably in September/October this year! AND I'm hoping to do it for charity!

What I need are good/fun venues to go to where karaoke happens, so I can
perform my songs for you!

So, if you'd like to invite me to your karaoke venue, please let me know where it is and on what day so that I can incorporate it into my itinerary?

I look forward to your replies.

Best Regards

Andy BG

We have had many visitors from many countries, to many US states...

Most have posted the tour plan, and then were able to hook up for visits to sing.

Los Angeles County has as many Karaoke venues as any city.

If you plan to visit L.A., let me know..

Could you tell us more about this part?

How many songs....etc?......most KJs would expect you to follow the rotation, as if you were just another customer.
Just want to make sure expectations are clearly understood for everyone involved........I hope you have a fantastic visit....jr

Best Regards

Hi,

I'm not a pushy karaoke singer!

I can wait my turn!

If people enjoy what I do then that just gives me a buzz!

I'm on the downslope of life so my time is ticking away, and I'm doing this
as a bit of fun and to meet like minded individuals and form friendships!

When I've got an idea of my route I shall discuss with the BBC about doing it for Children In Need, which is a big UK charity run by the BBC!

I hope this eases any worries you have about my motives!

Cheers

Andy BG

Why don't you put up some samples of your singing in the Singers showcase so we can get a small taste of your singing style?

I like the BeeGees

Why does this thread remind me of the movie Borat?

I'm even reading the OP's posts in my best Kazakhstan accent in my head. :brows:

Never seen the movie!

Is it good?

Isn't it that chap Cohn who's in it? Don't like him!

Cheers

I'm not a KJ, but if you should be passing through central Pennsylvania, I will be happy to sing poorly for your pleasure.

I'd probably be willing to drive by and hook up with you as well. How far is Central PA from Sesame Place in Langhorne (by the Oxford Valley Mall)? Even tho I live in NY, I work over in Levittown (Bucks County), and have a crash pad in Langhorne.

Approximately a four-hour drive. Is there a good spot in Langhorne, or Levittown?

4 hours is a bit too much for me to drive for Karaoke (unless I were to spend the night at a local Motel). As for knowing of any good spots in Langhorne or Levittown, I really don't go out to the places there. I only work in the area, but I am aware of a few places that host Karaoke. There was a place I used to go to a few years ago in Rockledge, PA (just by the Huntington Pike). It always had a big crowd, and a lot of very talented singers. It was a 2-song night every time I was there.

Andy, I do a show in Cary, NC (near Raleigh NC) on Saturday nights. One of my regulars specializes in Bee Gees and novelty songs. You two would get along great. Maybe breakfast after the show ?
