The slooooooooowww topic AGAIN..  Is it just on my end , or has the Latest Sub's page slowed to a crawl? I have cable access , and it's still taking FOREVER for that page to load...if I try to move from page 1 to page two or whatever ,forget it. any one else?

Hmm, i have cable....and it is kinda slow for me too. Although....i have been known to be slow on my own....even with a cable attached to me.... ......no seriously.....mine is slow too.

It is kinda slowwwwwwwwwwwwww But what has impressed me is the number of subs in one single day!!!

yes i have also noticed as you move out of subs back to main page there is soo much delay and as i was uploading my songs each one took about 5 mins which was unusual thought it was my broadband having an off day hehehe |

I'm looking into it... I think that it is just the scripts checking and verifying then displaying the correct results. I am working on a new method of retrieval but so far no luck... I'll keep trying and keep you apprised of my progress (or lack thereof)

I am still working on some of the scripts, plus you may notice that a few other sections are still slow... I'm getting to them as soon as I determine what is actually causing the delay. On the main page "Last Submissions" it has improved some. But it is still not to my satisfaction. 6 seconds for a DSL connection is not the best. Also I modified the page selection. You can now swich to any of the pages by clicking the page number or using the "NEXT" or "PREV" at the bottom of the page. The rank is not currently displayed as is the option to select the genre as these were causing some delay. The rank, if available, is displayed on the actual submission information page. I will be adding a genre search to the SEARCH page. Give me some time, I want to speed the whole thing up then I will add those other features we have been discussing. Phill |
