Hello, I have looked and looked, but can't seem to find the more obscure karaoke tracks. Is there a place that sells some lesser known karaoke songs? I'm looking for stuff along the lines of what Karaoke Underground has on their list. <Link Removed> Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! -Dan |

Hmmm. About the most "obscure" thing I've ever seen or performed was Dead Milkmen's "Punk Rock Girl." I want to say it was a Sound Choice track, but I am not a KJ so I have no idea what disc it would be on. |

That is an awesome disc (SC8313)... Talk about buying 14 songs that will get sung just for one obscure song. |

Obscure songs don't sell Karaoke tracks pretty much have to be top 20 to turn a profit. |

I believe this was a spam hit - OP 1 post, with a link that was removed, looking at their site looks to be like a live karaoke deal starting out. Now that being said, what is being listed here as 'obscure' was still mainstream radio played, especially that New Wave 8313 disc. Obscure is like 'underground' scene. |

Thanks everyone for the replies! I've seen the songs from the disc listed above and sang a couple. Some good stuff. Unfortunately, the stuff I am looking for is a bit more obscure. I am a fan of their song list, that's all. They have also been around for a few years. Google "karaoke underground" and view their songlist. Those are the songs I am looking for. Thank you everyone. |

Unfortuantely almost every song on their set list is not going to available for karaoke from most manus. You might find 1 or two songs, but I don't think they are going to come from any known manu. |

So I think they wold have been "nailed" by now. |

Similar to what BeH BeH KiTTeN karaoke does here in the Seattle/Portland areas. They had a recent write up in a New York based magazine about how they create karaoke tracks for "obscure" songs. I don't know how long KiTTeN has been operating but they seem to be successful. Their show is on my short "go to" list for the next couple of months. -Chris |

I really would like to hear that Pixies Debaser's version they have, since I made one myself. And of course the rest of the tracks. Unfortunately, I'm a bit far from Austin-TX to go there for the weekend |

I browsed their track lists and the guy who makes the tracks seems to have very similar sensibilities to mine. |
