Good point !
Please remember that I am a numbers and coding freak... The english language confuses me!
Okay what happened is that the email system, set up with the forums (a coding issue,) rejected several hundred emails.
I therefore retreived those rejected emails and stopped the automated deletion process until after I could send out an email to verify the validity of the emails.
If you received an email and have since logged in; the system has then updated your account.
Else, If you received the email but do not login - the system will again attempt to delete your account. I want to avoid a bunch of emails from people stating that they can't login. (It has happened before.)
Else, I receive an email from AOL (for example) stating that the user is an invalid email address. I will then allow that email address to be deleted - or I may do it myself.
Now, unfortunately, that has probably just confused everyone more!
I can write an algorithmic expression to explain it better!
