Hi everyone!

Just want to say first, this is a fantastic site! This will be my first posted question. I'm currently running a six-week contest, with finals on June 18th. I have two judges already lined up from local media/entertainment and am trying to line up two more. I will have 10 finalists.

My question is: Does anyone have a "template" for a scoresheet, or suggestions for one, that the judges can use?

Thanx,
DJ Paris

Contests ... :grumble: :grumble: The thing with contests are
Is it a SINGING contest or a Talent Contest??-- If its a true karaoke contest I would suggest the following criteria
Most important would be
1. (1-10 PTS) VOCAL TONE ( Did they sing the song in key and timing was good)
2. (1-10 PTS VOCAL ABILITY ( Can they hit those high notes ? or low notes of the song)
3 (1-5 pts) Overall stage presence and appearance
4 (1-5 pts ) Attitude

Best TOTAL Score wins ....

Paris,
Competitions are so subjective.. it depends on what you are judging.. and the criteria. and the scoring method...

Once you have an idea where you are going to do in that are and how to make your competition FAIR than ask the question you are asking.

Usually you can make them yourself on excell, or word. And then have them printed at Kinkos, or any print shop.

You may wish to contact Peter Parker @ Karaoke Scene Magazine Personally for advice.

Best of luck to you.
