ok i got booted....why the big C if they have no interest's in people being honest? its all based on JMO anyway...there r other's who will completely disagree with me... i say either use the C/critique as it should be used are get rid of it altogether... this not a big deal to me i just feel like talking...  l...tc...Billy

well hi stranger, ur the 1 and only comment so ur not really highjackin anything... l..well out of the 3 critiques i made 1 pulled his song the other 2 i believe deleted my comments, yet right there where you leave a comment it says....please critique...go figure...l..somethings never change i guess...

The last few times I gave my honest opinion with songs that had the 'C' next to it, I got some really snippy replies in return... in fact, not too long ago some guy almost bit my head off, literally!... good thing I have quick reflexes !

Hi JustaDreamin, I hear ya! I've only seen a handful of folks that can accept an honest, not so good critique. Heck, I was even told a few times times on my subs that I suck (in so many words) but I didn't go & throw a temper tantrum, I just chalked it up as pure ignorance on their part, cause I never proclaimed to be something I'm not, meaning I'm not really a singer, I just do it for thrill I get. You shoulda seen this 1 time, this chick had subbed a song under 'J' & someone gave her a comment she didn't like & boy oh boy did she hit the roof... she gathered together all her friends & started an all out war on SS, it lasted for a few weeks & then the next thing you know, their commenting on each other again like nothing ever happened... blew my mind!

Yeah, I don't know many people in the showcase any more. I've tried to record a few times, but it didn't go well. My little mixer finally quit me (the cord messed up) and I'm trying to figure out how to set my big mixer to record live.... but I don't have the patience for it most days. I miss the days when I'd get up, make a pot of coffee, and log in to play on SS for half the day. Lol, so many wasted hours, but it was fun. Glad to hear you're doing well-and recording- I'll go have a listen to some of your songs:) |
