Upon dropping cdg sets into my prelist in MBD, I notice that the SGB set has a 1st edition and a 2nd edition. Both show 66 discs. Both begin and end with the same songs on the same tracks of the same disc numbers. The only dfference between them is that according to MBD, the 1st edition has 11 more songs for the complete set than the 2nd edition. I really don't want to go through all sixty six discs camparing each track to MBD. Is there another way I can tell which set I have? |

find somebody who can read, put the CD's in order and have them read the titles off the CD while you check the database I don't use MBD, i us MS access and hand-type or convert my data into my book database |

So then "no," unfortunately. Okay, I'll see if I can get my gf to help me out. Thanks anyway. |

If you can find one disc that's different in the 2 sets you can figure out which one it is. Unfortunately, the only way is to compare titles/tracks until you come up with one that doesn't fit. |

I too use MS Access a customized version which I have also included Modules for equipment inventories, and Customized Books. Yes it was a pain to input all my media In By hand, but when I print my lists, I can conserve paper by being able to modify my printouts. I run PCDJ for fills and have a copy of the database on that PC. I can use the Search Functions of MS ACCESS if someone doesn't know the whole name of the song.... etc. Is There anyone else using an Access DB? |
