My biggest complaint from people comes with the fact that the lyrics on the CDG are sometimes incorrect. Is their any way of fixing this?

My second biggest complaint from people is that they have a hard time seeing the cursor go across the screen. I just bought some sound Essential CDGs that barely light up at all. can anyone help out here also? Thanks a lot.

Not much if anything you can do about the lyrics other than letting the manufacturers kknow.

As for the swipes adjust your settings on your t.v. (contrast, brightness, colour, tint) until the swipes become more clear.

how are you hooking the cdg player up to the TV.

If you use a RF Modulator, try looking at the switch. Manytimes, the switch on the back of it needs to be set to the other setting...

One is for European settings... the other here in America...

Don't know anything about the Essential discs, or how they light up originally.

Well I can see some of the other CDs pretty good. I have a DK set that sometimes doesn't light up to good, but my Sound Choice lights up great. I have tried playing with the adjustments on the TV. It works okay. People still complain though. Thanks for the responses guys.

I would invest into another CDG manufacturer instead of "Sound Essential." NOt only does their music not light up as the song is sung their sound quality isn't very good.

People who complain about wrong lyrics are my biggest pet peeve in this business.

What's the point?

If you know the words well enough to point out that they are incorrect, just SING THE RIGHT FRIGGING WORDS!

Do these people's lives suck so bad that the only way they can feel better is by pointing out the shortcomings of others?

okay, but HOW do you hook the player up to the TV?

When others don't "light up so good" it definately sounds like a modulator setting.

Knightshow, is definately right on this one. I had a Radioshack modulator, and the colors were bland, bought an RCA digital modulator and now it is really Bright vivid colors. shows a lot of difference. especially with the really hard to read color changes like yellow to white.

..............................

If you don't like sound essentials, then buy another brand you think is better. I don't see that as a hard choice.

It's just hooked up to the player for the coaxle cable connection. I don't think it's the settings because sometimes the exact same manufacturer (my DK's primarily) light up fine and sometimes they don't. It's the same songs that do it though it's not random. I'm pretty sure it's just the CDG that doesn't light up properly. Where can I change the modulator settings if that is the problem? I'm guessing somewhere on the CDG player. Thanks for the comments guys.

you mentioned COAX connection...

is that from the player? Every player I've ever seen has a Yellow RCA connection.

Please explain. I'm more confused than ever now!
