Hi Nicole! Yes you sure can record a CD+G on those programs. Although you will not get the graphic's .... I always go to a lyrics site (like SongLyrics.com) and print out the lyrics. Check out CanPanther's thread on Cool Edit (which is the same as Adobe Audition) .... that should help! I have never used the Sound Forge, but I use Cool Edit and it works great for me! If you have any futher questions about the program just PM me and I'll be happy to help!

We have Sony's "Sound Forge 7" here, But prefer to use Calkwalk's Sonar 3 over that. I'm realy close to trying it on a song. I'm getting tired of getting burned by bad sounding songs in in the showcase and been making the best of a bad situation but it has been fun.. It lists in the US for $500.00 USD. I'm sure it can be found for much less at Pro Audio/Recording dealers nation-wide. File conversion is so easy with Sound Forge.. like I said the program is really expensive though.

Nicole ~

Wish I could help you, unfortunately I am not familiar with the product. As soon as someone provides some details on how to use I will Pin it so that it can easily be found. I hope one of our "Techies" can help us out with this...

BTW - I just found it online at Sony Media Software for under $400 and on Amazon for under $230 for new version, not used!

Although I couldn't find any complete instructions, I'll keep looking...

I did find this:
http://digitalmedia.jhu.edu/Assets/Refe ... ording.pdf

and this:
http://mediasoftware.sonypictures.com/P ... atures.pdf

(Copy & Paste the links above into your browser)
These any help?

Phill

Being i don't care anymore.. I just figured the program out over the weekend. it's a real nice program. I like it for single take tracking And File Conversions.

Here is Sony's take on it..
With the download there is a file with the comelete operating instructions.
Also.. In the "Box" version there is ALSO a paper instruction Book with tecj support's number.. with out a registration number you CAN NOT access the online forums provided by Sony.

I have been warned that if I copy the instruction manual in any way. by my retailer that I will be held liable for copyright infringringements by Sony according to thier regional rep. I don't need that hell. I have enough to deal with the way it is.

Sorry,

I will try to help you in any way i can or refer you to another engineer or studio I know about that uses the product.

My apologies.

I just use Soundforge to convert audio files and "rip & Upload" on others for commercial audio production.

But don't get me wrong on the showcase I still record & sing all my songs in one take.
