The player I have is called Party Starter & we got it from SoundChoice. In the beginning, it was just fine, even tho it is very elementary. Now that we are really into it, we realize that we need key control & it is very confusing as what to do. I've done some research online, but that is why I am writing to you for advice. I can't quite figure out if it would be better to buy a component or just buy a new player with key control. We really appreciate any and all advice regarding this! Thank you!!!

Are you planning to hook your player into an amplifier/ home stereo? If so, your best route may be to get a JVC/RSQ or similar player and then add a mixer. Also, they do make karaoke mixers that have a key changer in them. You may consider hooking you existing player into a mixer with key change capability and run it through your stereo.
