hi sammy. took your advice and got the microverb 4 off ebay for $100 shipped. last time you told me i cold hook it up to my audio2k akj7150 like below:

A. Plug your microphone into your effector and plug your effector into your mixer, so you'll need a 1/4 to 1/4 patch cord

or

B. In the back of your 7150 there is a microphone effects loop connection in the back, so you'll need to get 2 patch cords 1/4 male to RCA. From the back of the amp, the RCA that says "Send" or "Out", that's going to go into the "In" side of your effector and the "Out " of the effector is going to go to the "In" of the effector loop.

..........i chose to take option 'A' because it requires less wires. now is there a difference between the two ways or no? i have initially tried to play with it but am having a tough time finding the right settings.

while using the alesis, should i set main echo, delay and repeat on my mixer to 12 o'clock?

also what program number do you recommend for a small living room? and what program number are you using right now for vocals.

thanks for the help.

The echo setting on your Audio 2000 7150 should be off (all the way to the left).

This is not an exact science ... so follow closely

First of all, turn down the microphone volume down on your 7150. Not off, but just enough where you can scream and not hurt anything. Turn it up later when you get comfortable.

We're going to start from the left to the right of your Alesis.

The Input level, set that about 11'o clock

The Mix, turn that off for now (all the way to the left)

The Output, Set that about 10' o clock

The Value, start with 22

Edit A and B start at 12' o clock

The Mix, (you can use the terms dry and wet, dry being to the left and wet being to the left) turn that to about 10' o clock. When using the Mix, that determines how much of the signal gets processed.

I think... (it's been a while) if you set the Value to 66, turn the mix all the way to the right and play with the edit A knob, youy can get the Darth Vader on helium action.

Good Choice,

Sammy
