Has anyone here tried running a BBE unit in their setup, and if so how did you integrate it in your rig? I was thinking about buying the 882i but I'm having a hard time justifying the $250 Price tag. Thanks guys.

First off, look at the 482, it's cheaper & is exactly the same as the 882 except it doesn't have balanced input/outputs, which unless your entire rig is balanced, isn't going to make that big of a difference.
I use 1 in each of my systems. Basically it aligns frequencies so they project better, which will make your mix crisper & fuller.

I use a BBE 362NR on my music loop only, It makes a night and day difference in sound. Go try one out at a sound shop. Its the one piece of equipment I wouldn't do without.

Thanks for your help guys. I did goto a guitar center today and listened to one, you are right night and day difference in music. My entire rig is balanced so I decided I would go with the 882i and I got it for $200. Can't complain about that, only 20 bucks more than the 482i. Gonna try and rig it up for tonight. Got my fingers crossed.

Just don't "overprocess" it. This is a common mistake with this unit. Too much bass & too much treble.
Like ANY processor, you shouldn't even really hear it working, although you would know if it weren't there!

I got the 882i and used it last night for a DJ gig I had and WOW! Night and Day. I don't know how I ever got along without it. I have a new favorite piece of equiptment.
