Hi,
I"m curious to find out the most acceptable way to clean pioneer karaoke laser discs. I've noticed on some of my discs, certain songs, not all, has a very "scratchy" audio, while the video is fine. Naturally, rather than try and replace these "collectable", I'd rather try to clean them with what you, the expert, suggests!!!!

To clean i've always just used a wet rag & warm water - no soaps. Problem is with the older lasers is that the material that the data is stored in was alot different than todays material in cd's & dvd's so it starts degrading over time which is pretty much irreversable. I have several laser discs that don't sound as good now than when they did new.
