Hallo Tom, thank you for your comment on Sweet Memories. Very much appreciated. Is there a problem with the comment box? Or is the purpose of your message in the forum to start a dialogue? I'm glad you like the rendition. I know that you are a very good singer. So your opinion is very valuable to me. Any advice you have for me to improve on my singing will be well accepted. I was lucky to discover your posting in the forum. From now on I must visit the forum more regularly. Again Tom: Thank You!! Regards: John. |

I started this thread here John foor the fact.. I PERSONALLY don't like casting Scores/Votes.. I guess mainly because there are alot of folks who don't seem to appreciate or adjust to certin levels of #'s casted (myself included *if there is no constructive comment amending the score*) ... So to prevent animosities... Here this is  Just a simple solution to some "duuh" expel-latious prevention. (if ya know what I mean eh) ________________________ Thank You for viewing here.. so ya know I did in fact recognized ur submissions in the "Singers Showcase" Tom *Bro* |

Comment by: News Chick Tue., Feb. 24th Nice voice. Rank: 6 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment by: Simon'sHelper Sun., Mar. 14th Unique voice Rank: 7 ________________________ Will someone please explain to me the positive points on these 2 submission comments? or is this a simple Joke to entertainers everywhere? Implications suggest some folks just like to tear folks away from a decent environment (IMO) |

Bro ~ I applaud your concern for wishing to place comments on songs. I understand that you don't wish to "rank" a submission. But that is just one of the reasons for the Singer's Showcase. If a submittor wishes to not have the song commented on or ranked they are provided that option. Also, if someone wishes to say that they enjoyed the song or leave a brief comment they may. They also don't have to leave any comment just rank. Of course, as stated in the Singer's Showcase FAQ section it is preferred that they do. Quote: We would like you to rank the performance. The comment section is to either:
give the submitter critiques of their performance let them know that you enjoyed it Further, as stated in the FAQ Quote: You may not agree with the comments or ranks given, nevertheless, it is inappropriate to berate someone in the comment section of the song submission. Most will be critiques to help you improve. However, if you have a valid complaint, please contact the site administrators who will then determine the appropriateness and possibly remove the offending post. This would include saying: Bro wrote: Will someone please explain to me the positive points on these 2 submission comments? or is this a simple Joke to entertainers everywhere?
I hope this helps and enjoy the site. Phill |

Phill I see all that Phill ... but the point I'm trying to make in all of this is.... What If I/We just want to leave a comment "Just a Comment" currently I/We can't, there is a # score that auto enters... Well if I just "Comment" then they get the programmed #5... unless I change it.. well chaaa... what If I feel they are not ready for a realistic score. Simply put.. sometimes... a comment suggestion to help improve for a re-sub till the submitter improves to better themselves is best... rather then making them feel crummy or offended, works best in society .... Then perhaps cast a score once they, or I in this case, feel it's the appropriate time to cast that score/vote. Allows more freedom and selectiveness I feel. How about the programmer make it so I/We have a better option as I suggested via e-mail! It wouldn't hurt to revise the FAQ dept on this sight on some issues especially if it helps improve not destroy. but as it stands now.... hmmm where is that choice? I don't SEE it! and if it's there PLEASE show me where... Respectively, Tom p.s.: sorry for any typos |
