Post subject:  source for old karaoke tapes, LPs, CDs besides ebay?

Hi there,

Does anyone know of any online stores that sell used karaoke tapes, LPs, or CDs other than eBay? The reason I ask is because I'm looking for a few tapes from an 80s karaoke company called "Variety Plus". I had some of their cassettes and over time, the tapes either got lost or broke. I would now like to replace them, if at all possible. Haven't had much luck finding them on eBay. Anyone have any suggestions as to where else they could be found? Or maybe have some titles by this company for sale?

Thanx :)

(PS please let me know if this doesn't belong in this forum)

I've never heard of them & started with tapes in the late 80's as well. I found 1 on e-bay, but chances are you aren't going to find that particular label. It's hard enough trying to find used karaoke CD's of todays current brands let alone older tapes of obscure/obsolete brands.

That's for sure!

FYI, Variety Plus was around in the early 80s, some of their songs have shown up on Napster but not the ones I'm looking for. I even heard some of their stuff at a recording studio (the public kind that used to be in malls) in NYC. Guess I'll have to dig thru my old tapes and see what's left. :)

Interesting, they are in my backyard, I never think about them anymore because they jack the prices up so high usually. I see these cassettes are running $12 for 5 songs - I guess if you really want them, it would be worth it.
I see they still sell Sound Choice discs for $22.95 when everyone else sells them for $17.95 & they will not price match.
