When using any html editor for building web pages there is feature where you can preview the page in a browser of your choice. For the last 2 or 3 years if you use IE it bucks snorts hesitates then proudly announces that it blocked a popup. I am sitting there writing the code for that page and wonder what the hell is going on (what popup?) ... When I install a new system the first thing is installing Zone Alarm then downloading Firefox.

I understand IE has extensions, too, but the biggest thing for those is probably isntalling malware.

Firefox has some great extensions. My favorite one these days is "GreaseMonkey", which allows you to tailor individual pages. For instance, I adapted a script which allows you to ignore certain posters and stop those darn scrolling signature <marquee> things.

There are a few here who I just don't care to see their posts. So I have my little script, and it is like they are invisible!
