After 4 gigs in 2 different venues, lonnies' advice and tweaking I have one hell of a system. My old dfx12 was about to give up the ghost after about 7 years of outside dust storms and many smoke filled bars. I did sort of want a usb mixer but opted for the cfx12 mkII. The levels and efx settings are different and it takes awhile to get them right. Fri and sat singers were amazed at this system I had an old friend come in that I hadnt seen for a year and was quite set back with the clarity and quality. Sat I had regulars that I have watched improve over a year in my reg venue and after their first song relaxed, put every thing they had into their song and even hammed it up. Their confidence was at a max and the audience was cheering all and whooping and hollering. I have sang on many band and karaoke systems. This by far the best I have ever heard. No brag just fact. This isnt a good pic but here is the rack. Bottom Power conditioner Dbx 266XL compressor Lexicon 550 vocal processor Alesis Microverb 4 Bbe 362 audio processor Aphex 104 processor Btw the mains are JBL Eon15 G2's and stage monitor is a JBL Eon10 G2. |
