hey everyone, my name is becky...i've been karaoke-ing for about 2 years now, but singing for most of my life (i'm 21 btw)...got a baby boy w/ my bf & he sings too...i live in a very hot part of southern california - imperial valley *ugh* ...we're starting to have karaoke competitions around here now...i actually just got back from one, got second place by 1 point, but it's all good...anywho, i'm becky

Welcome to KS and I hope your baby doesn't develop those singing lungs that you and your boyfriend possess...at least for a few years. Maybe you will get better sleep at night then. |

Hiya Becky  Welcome aboard !
It sounds like you're having fun. What ever you do don't judge your talent or love for karaoke by those contests. A lot of the time it is political within the venue. For the most part they aren't run fairly. Keep doing what you love if you win or not.
