Post subject:  burning files

hi all that reads

im very new to karaoke files (CDG BIN and others) so i need help!!!!!!
well im trying to burn some karaoke discs i have been using different programs to get from midi files that i have downloaded to .bin files but now i cant burn the files on disc i ahve tried drifferent ways using CDRWIN 5 but all i get is the karaoke machine not reading the disc or reading the disc but no sound or even video so if someone can help me in a very basic way would be very greatful

because it would make my girlfriend very happy

No that I am advocating pirating files, but check to make sure that your cd burner is CD+G compatible. Most burners are not compatible and will not read or write the sub-channel graphic data.

I won't help the ripping off of manufacturers...

I realize you're talking about midi stuff, and for the privacy of your home, but I believe very strongly in paying what you play with.

i have paid for some of the files that i have downloaded and some i have downloaded off what i thought was a FREE SITE all legal i have now deleted them files and oly kept the ones i have paid for

but i still need the information about burning these files on to CD and also i have used abit of software which told me that my CD-RW and DVD-RW will write CD-G files but im not sure if this is true or not but im only going on what i have been told and read about

do a search on the internet for "Goldenhawk" and go to their website. CDRwin is a good (but not the only) program for this... you'll also need a cdg compatible burner.
