Post subject:  A little critisism... I ask all members to please weigh in.
OK.. Now I know some have may not have much to do that post garbage but.. I for one have some "Other things to do than check mail and threads that "DON'T EXIST". In short I came across today 3 threads that were deleted. I know that "Big Brother Phill" does his best to look out for us But... There is a point where the "Frustration meets the road" .. and My time is money. I get between 50-90 e-mails a day and maybe 10-15 of them are "topic replies" from here.. all I'm asking is that the moderators and Phill come up with a way to send a thread/topic deleted or moved message so we don't chase it. or is that too confusing for some simple minds on this board? and it's a little inconsiderate.

Sorry but , yes, i'm a little peaved. :x :evil:

Like other topics i'm sure this one will be deleted in a flash too..

But if others can post on it.. please do and send a message. :wink:

I would like to apologize to you and those others who have requested to be notified of new postings to a topic. When I delete a post that was submitted (reasons to be explained further below) the deletion is done after the post and therefore you may have already been advised of a new post. I do not know a way around this.

Now the reason for the deletions:
Apparently some people have nothing better to do than go around joining forums and making rude remarks. There were several people who joined this forum for that purpose. Shotgun (aka WheresShotGun & FreeShotgun), Noodles, stavross, to name a few. These people have been blocked from the forums and Singer's Showcase.

This is an open Forum and as you know we allow many topics and posts however, when this is done to be destructive or slanderous, not only do I find it personally offensive but it consumes a large part of my day to weed out these individuals.

I try my best to be discriminate and open minded in my decisions as to what is allowed and what is not.

:wink: Brian, I too receive emails daily my numbers are staggering - somewhere between 500 - 1500! Many are with regards to Karaoke Scene and its' sub-sites. Many of course are SPAM (30% to be conservative) :wink:

I understand your frustrations. However, I will continue to do what I can to maintain the integrity of this site and the forums. :!:

We all know its a dirty, rotten job being a moderator, but someone has got to do it. Thanks Phil for taking care of this site and making sure that it stays child-friendly.

Sometimes Its wise to solve some issues thru "PM" or Email with the Webmaster. I've had my share of beefs but before I splash it all over, I contact the Webmaster privately.

Usually the problem is a simple miscommunication or mistake.

Gee - :oops: I and everyone associated with Karaoke Scene appreciates hearing the compliments and even occasionally the criticism. We do our best to keep this site safe and informative. There are times that we need to edit or even delete posts, these seem to be rare, but it does occur.

Big Jimmy C is correct if you have a question do not hesitate to ask me via PM or email. I will try to resolve the situation or point out where you are wrong :P ha, ha :rotflmao:

Seriously though, I will continue to do my best and try to keep an 'open mind.' Please feel free to ask me questions or make comments. Note we also have a forum specifically set up for this. Be certain to check it occassionally as well.
