Dont know which one you are referring to. To stand on the circle of the original stage of  the Grand Ole Opery is a life time experience. I wept...

Was merely referring to all the cords and knobs! It was an experience for sure! I admit I got chills thinking of all those who had stood on the spot I was standing on. I should visit more often. On a good day, I can be in the city limits of Nashville in 90 minutes from where I live.

I've run boards that big before, you don't really need two people.  After you set most of the sound levels indevidually, you can patch them to bus channels so you only have a select number of sliders to control.  It can look intimidating though.

Soundcraft Europa.  Nice console, worked on one very similar for bands here.

Ollie, I was at the Ryman christmas of 96.... I know what you mean. Of course, the Ryman has a piece of the new stage- vice versa of the new Grand Ol' Opry... but it was just a cool feeling knowing who all stood on that stage.
(i visited the new Grand Ol Opry, but spent the most time at the Ryman...)
And that place is gorgeous at christmas... even the G'Ol Opry hotel is decked out very nicely. I can't wait to go back:)

That pile of cords looks a bit reminiscent of my music room.  LMAO
.
