elgintow, I find it to be excellent for Home use. I started with the 203G (No USB) and my family enjoyed it so much, I gave it to my sister and purchased the 105G USB. (Just The USB Player) and add my 500GB Omega External Drive. The only differences between them is the 203G has many external buttons. I only use the remote.... Save money buying 105G USB. VITAL INFO: Don't use the CAVS Method! TOO SLOW! Don't use the CAVS IPS MANAGER. IT'S HAS LIMITS! Don't use the CAVS Encoder or Decoder! TOO SLOW! I purchased CDGFix 3.4d, Loaded 50,000 Tracks from HD 3,000 of these Tracks were SCDG. Mixing formats - No Problem! Exported them to the External, as MCG.MP3 files (With an INX & Juke.txt) DID ALL THIS IN ONE SWOOOP! No Songbook Needed! Everything is Displayed On Screen. No worries about scrated Discs. Simply Load and Perserve your Originals. Hope This Helps, sw00000p |

Just an FYI!!!! I'm still trying to figure it out, but it appears that Cavs maybe pulling the plug on Super CDG's. I have 203 without USB, worked great for a year and died. I wanted to replace but several sites are discontinuing all Cavs players, and Super Cdgs. I've asked on here and other people but can't get a strait answer. |

ificouldonlysing, If your looking for a CAVS Player with or without USB, Go to the main site and click on CAVSOUTLET. The player without USB is ITEM#10 at the bottom, $199. Cavs is located in Santa Fe Spring, CA. I live about 20 minutes away. I save shipping cost by picking my items up. Awhile back I purchased serveral SCDG'S and a 203G. Less than a year ago I went back and purchased a 105G USB. I wanted to buy another SCDG Disc, but they told me that Nutech, among other scdg manufactures, and Cavs had a fall out. To what extent that means.... I don't know. TIP: Never purchase anything from the Cavs website... Always purchase from the Cavs Outlet.... Always Cheaper! Also, sorry to hear your player died. Mine are still working perfectly. NOTE: I only use it for Home use and perform preventative maintenance frequently. sw00000p |

I love system, since for home use you can have a good party without changing a ton of disk. I thought it was interesting that Ace Karaoke, pulled the plug on all SCDG players and disk. Thanks for info. |
