I trying out some different options for karaoke machines right now. I want to run out and get a disc to try out the different hardware. Are these CD+G discs available at regular stores like Target. I googled it and couldn't find anything.

Very limited selections are available through stores like Target, K-Mart, WalMart, but your better deals, better quality are found via the internet karaoke retailers.

many music stores, like Tower Records, carry some as well (small section of about 20-200 discs)... but believe me, you're FAR better going with online stores, like Lonnie recommends!

Well Kid,
Although there is some truth to you post. I have been playing some of my discs for over 10 years...very frequently. I do have some that are crap...but that's not the point here. MrD

True enough on the discs - I have 925 CDGs and some of them are 20 years old. The only one I've ever lost is one I slammed in the lid ... the rest are A-okay. I carry a 'disc doctor' with me and have managed to salvage anything that needed it. I do, however, keep all of them in the padded plastic sleeves - not the paper ones, and not in a binder. For years I kept them in the hard CD cases! Got too heavy. Just have to take good care of them.

be ultra careful with the disc doctor... overdoing the cdgs with it... can ruin them.
