Ok, here's the situation. I'm experimenting with trying to create a compilation disc. I'm using audiograbber for right now and when I learn a bit more I plan on getting Power CD+G or some other better program. In audiograbber it lets you rip tracks to .bin or .cdg or .cdg + .wav or .cdg + compressed. If I want to be able to burn a disc and use it in my Karoke machine, what format should I choose? What format are they in on the original disc? What is the best format to use on the laptop with PCDJ? Thanks! |

.bin is the format that most CD+G burning software uses with the exception of PowerKaraoke which will burn from Audio+G formats as well. |

What format do I need to burn a disc to so I can then go play it in my Karaoke machine? What format do original Karaoke discs come in that play in Karaoke machines? thanks |

Use Audiograbber and rip to .bin files and then you will need a burning program capable of burning CDG such as CDRWin, MTU Microstudio or Power CDG. Just a regular burning program such as Media Player will not work. And of course you also need a drive capable of reading and writing CDG graphic subcodes, although I believe there might be some burning software out there that handeles that function without the drive necessarily being a CDG capable drive. |

Ok, thanks. Will Nero do the burn? What about audiograbber? I am eventually going to buy Power CD+g burning software, probably soon in fact, I just want to get my feet wet first and try to make a disc with the free downloadable programs out there. After reading a bunch of comments about the Power Karaoke CD+G burning software I have no doubts it will do everything I want to do and for a reasonable price. |

audiograbber will NOT do any burning! Strictly a ripping/encoding software! I honesly don't know if Nero will work, but I do know that karaokebuilderstudio's "Cue File Builder" will work with ANY builder. |

CDRWin will work in the free trial mode, just at 1x speed, but there is nothing wrong with burning CDG at a slower speed just takes longer, I would allow about 15 minutes for a 16 song disc. http://www.goldenhawk.com/ Not sure if Nero will work, my guess would be no. |
