It's been awhile since I have used these on a regular basis esp during surfing. The end immediately goes  all the way to the bottom Home back to the top. pg dn goes down to the next undisplayed text.  Pg up back up the same amount.

In some folders in windows explorer like in music libraries with thousands of files they are priceless. In a folder with 7000 files in it end will take you to the bottom immediately. The pg dn is a whole lot better than scrolling and is faster.

I've found that when you hit the SPACE bar... **GASP** it advances one space!!!

Matt that was you ?   I saw that in the "Who's Who" technology section recently !

What I like about notebook computers is you don't need a separate monitor. When you open them there's a screen attached.

Screen attached? Crap I thought that was a solar panel for recharging the battery. I wonder if thats why it won't turn on anymore.

Actually my concern is when it comes to all these button things, I keep hitting the little one in the top left thats labeled escape, mine apparently is broken cuz I'm still here.

I was trying out Matt's invention, and I just think I figured out why it's not working on my computer !   I don't mean to sound stupid but is the correct sequence push the *on* button then plug the computer into the wall ? or vice versa ? I don't want to blow anything up... Whoever built these computers really did stuff a$$-backwards. I have the computer fan blowing on me as it should be but the typing keys are facing away from me and the screen/makeup mirror isn't easy to even see.    The whole thing is facing away from me and upside down.



It works on my end London Live. Hope that helps !  Can't see you at all.
You know what I really liked about the first computers ?  Two knobs on the bottom, and when you were done, all you needed to do was shake them to clear the screen

You folks realize that there's a thingy on the side and if you push a button a shelf slides out with a hole in the center for something like a small 45 RPM record ?

True story Kappy In later years I had a vcr repair shop on campus. A young gal came in with a vcr under one arm and a 4 year old dennis the menace in tow. "how much do you charge to clean a machine?"  "It depends on how dirty it is" "How much if somebody stuck a grilled cheese sandwich in it?"

I laughed so hard I cried!!! And another time I blurted out to this young gal that dirty movies clog the heads in a minute We both lost it!!!
