The producers of TV's biggest singing competition, "American Idol," and country music pioneer CMT are teaming up to find the next great country duo! In the tradition of such powerhouse duos as Big & Rich, Kenny & Dolly, and even Billy Ray and Miley Cyrus, "Can You Duet?" is the ultimate singing competition looking to launch and unknown duo into country music superstardom. We will be holding a showcase/open audition for all Southern California residents at Cowboy Country in Long Beach on Saturday, December 15 (see full info below). ALL singing duos are encouraged to come out to audition for our producers. The prize for our Cowboy Country auditions? Not only will you be auditioning for producers for this brand-new singing competition, but the winning duo will ALSO receive two tickets to attend a taping of the upcoming season of the biggest singing competition of all time, "American Idol!!" Cowboy Country Audition Info: Date: Saturday, December 15 Time: 2:30p Registration Begins Place: Cowboy Country, 3321 E South St., Long Beach, CA 90805 What: Singing duos should come prepared to sing one song (any song you'd like) that best showcases their voices. Please be prepared to sing a cappella or playing your own acoustic instruments. Unlike karaoke, you will NOT be permitted to audition with a backing track.
