Currently, I am running two microphones via splitter into a standard pc soundcard microphone in jack. I am wanting. primarily, a solution to apply reverb or delay to real-time karaoke (not recording). Would this be a mixer? Is there any other solution?
Current setup:
Microphone---->Microphone In jack PC (Realtek soundcard)----->analog out (PC jack) to RCA (red/white)----->AV receiver RCA.

Yeah, a mixer will do it. I use the Alesis Multimix 8 USB. You can find it at musicians friend. You may also find cheaper mixers there but the Alesis does give you an extra sound card in the deal. So, it is quite nice. I, myself, want to upgrade to the EMU 1616M Laptop setup but it costs a lot more. I'll have to save up my nickels and dimes for a while to get that.
