THought your goal was for a power upgrade, not downgrade? I'm confused now? You just lost about 200 watts of your power. Are you still looking to get a new main powered mixer?
Yes my goal is to upgrade; thats why I asked if this mixer will handle a external amp. If not than yes I am going to buy another powered mixer.
Well the info on the mixer/amp you listed I couldn't turn anything up so can't answer if you can add an extra amp or not - maybe a full model number. But once again you are confusing me as you said earlier that you didn't want to have to add an external amp with the good Mackie board.

Thanks; for the input; and yes I have looked into adding a amp but there's not much differance in price between the amp and the powered mixer; and I can sell my mixer and get some of my money back; not to mention more equipment to pack around.
Also now that you are running only one set of speakers instead of 2 sets is automatically going to cut the overall percieved volume you are going to get by essentially half, even if you do get a more powerful amp. But with the one set of speakers, they are 8 ohms & the power rating you'll want to match for your amp is going to be 400 watts @ 8 ohms.
