What happens to the pens. Clearly they are unable to survive in this planet when exposed to karaoke. The mortality of a pen in the karaoke setting seems much higher than is possible. Most seem to disappear. I put two pens with each book, and in a couple weeks I am down to less pens than books. |

It's obvious that you should try and mate a pen with a clothes hanger. Keep them in your closet and see what happens. |

I think it's all a sinister plot spawned by the pen manufacturers! Yes! they actually target karaoke bars and office supply cabinets in most businesses and when nobody is looking they steal them back and repackage them. Another and more underhanded reason for their disappearance is that folks put them in their pockets and go home with them. :O I know it's hard to believe but see they actually don't know they are doing it. They unconsciously commit this crime and then one day they discover this Jar of pens that has mysteriously appeared. They have no idea how they got there...just that they showed up one day. My suggestion is that for those of us who have this happen occasionally that we take those wayward pens to our local KJ and put them to good use. Your KJ will be forever in your debt ![]() ![]() |

If they are going home then make sure they have your company's info on them. I know a place where they actually encourage patrons to take their pens or pencils since they have the company logo and info on them. one place had it printed on the pens "stolen from Star Struck lounge". Pretty good way to add business for your company, but as more and more Karaoke company goes totally digital with kiosks, the need of the pen and paper end up disappearing. |

two words... Golf Pencils. Cheap, nobody really wants to take them, and if you get them emblazoned with a logo, people will notice. Keep the pencil sharpener at your station... |

I guess if you're in the closet, you can use the coathanger to try to get the pen depending on where it's disappeared to ! |

Its the waitresses. The collect them up when they clear the tables. Try checkiing their waitress station at the end of the night and i bet youll find the pens! Most likely its NOT the custys taking them. |

This I have found to be more true than anything, go back to their station & you'll see a ton of pens usually - & they are generally yours! My club actually gives me back a couple fistfuls every few weeks.

I spend about $100 a year on pens. It's cheap and the cost of doing business. This year I had personalized pens so about $300. No big deal $1 a show. |
