Post subject:  looking for equipments reviews and suggestions

Hi guys,
I'm new to the forum and new to the karaoke world, I would like to setup a karaoke system in my living room and need some suggestion on the equipments. The wireless microphone I'm looking at is the BMB UHF-800 TWIN UHF SIGNAL WIRELESS MICROPHONE ($249), does anyone have reviews on this mic? Are there any better one in the price range? As for the speakers, I'm interested at the BMB CS-450VMKII Professional 450 Watts. Is this a good one? I picked it mainly because the look, as I don't want to have some huge speakers siting in my living room. I'm going to ceiling mount it. I'm gonna power them through my sony ht receiver which outputs 100 rms, will I have enough juice to power these speakers? If not, I am looking for suggestions on affordable amps or powered mixer. I have a pioneer karaoke mixer that give 2 microphone inputs, it doesn't have any effects build in or other functions. (I believed it's the MA-3 model) Any recommendation on mixers? Again, I'm looking for affordable, good looking (I prefer the one looks like the receiver so it can sit next to it) and reliable. Thanks in advance!

Home stereo equipment isn't usually recommended for karaoke.  Also if it says 'karaoke' or 'pro karaoke' in it's model or description, chances are it's overpriced & underfeatured.  You may be better off getting a small all in one unit.

QFCK - Karaoke in its rarest form is LIVE entertainment.  Your sterero system no matter how expensive and good is for listening to pre-recorded music and not LIVE VOCALS. SO trying to incorporate a decent Karaoke system into your Living Room  Home entertainment system is ging to be tough.  Your biggest obstacle would be speakers as HOME STERERO speaker can't and shouldn't do the job for LIVE vocals.

If its for your living room with no intent on any bigger rooms you may be able to get away with some 10" pro audio speakers  and a powered mixer - Look at some Peavey Powered mixers. They make a few small units that may fit you needs.
The IDEAL unit would be a BOSE system L1 ----$2000 !!!
Cordless mics are a good choice but again for your living room you may be able to save money and use a VHF system.

Good luck

My budget is about $850.
The vocopro DA-7909RV seems like a good deal, does anyone have any experiences with it?

here's my option right now:
a pair of JBL RM10            $250
vocopro DA-7909RV          $350
BMB UHF-800 wireless mic $ 250
