New to the site, been lurking for over a year..
I saw a KJ using a DVM-100G (Vocopro) video mixer in his show one time in FL.  I was very impressed, and would like to get my hands on one!  VocoPro doesn't make em anymore, and just about everywhere I called across this country that listed one for sale on there websites said 'not in stock'.  dang it.  Does anyone here know of a vendor/store that might have one on hand that I can buy?  Or, is there an alternative that will all me to combine a camera shot of me with the karaoke song words showing as well, sort of like a 'split' screen arrangement?  I'm not looking to by a CAV 199 unit just to do this function.  Just need a video mixer to do this job.

An actual video mixer may be your only option for that.

They aren't cheap, however they do have more options than the VP unit @ $400.

Thanks Lonman for the link.  I've ordered one and we'll see if this fits the need.  I'll post back my experiance with this unit once I get it connected and running.
